I hope I don't have to work today
Like I actually haven't worked since maybe sometime in august. I have been scheduled call in shifts but never called in. It's not that I don't want to work, but I have a major test on monday in Sex/Gender/Culture and on that test are questions regarding the first book we had to read - The Langurs Of Abu. Its this researcher who wanted to learn about Langurs so she did a four year field study. She watched fuckin monkeys for four years and wrote a 326 page book on her study. I am sure this is interesting to someone somewhere. We started it last week with 2 chapter assigned a night. Well, I am still on chapter 4 page 64. I can't stay awake. Yes, it is that fuckin boring. OK, maybe when I get to the monkey sex it might be interesting...or NOT.
So, if I don't work, my goal is to type an outline of my class notes and the other stuff we had to read so that I have something to study. As well as set a goal of starting every hour by reading 10 pages in this book. Just maybe I will get through it.
I also have a Juvi Delinqent test next week, the first test. I am more nervous about that test because its 75% essay and I heard he grades hard - so I gotta know the shit. I need to go back and reskim what we read plus my notes and would like to type them in an outline as well.
Overall, I have a pretty big day of studying as long as I don't have to work today. I will know in an hour.
I think I will go play Lego Batman until I find out if I need to go to work. Why start anything school related until I know.
PS - THANK YOU icyspook and charcoaleyes78 for Lego Batman and the movie. I absolutely love both. I am so glad it is more difficult than Lego Indiana Jones.
