Game betas, The Three Musketeers, um, Stuff. Yeah, idk.
So. The Assassin's Creed Revelations multiplayer beta. WELL. The menu is very pretty? LOL I haven't actually gotten a session started yet. The farthest I made it was the 101 thing, which was also pretty, but not very, ah, comprehensive.
I was so frustrated that I went to play some of the Brotherhood multiplayer, which was when I discovered that I hadn't actually played it after the beta of that one ended, so I was level 1. Assassinating all those 50s sure was fun though, hee hee.
It has made my cravings roughly 1,000,000x worse though. WHY IS IT NOT OUT YET? WHY???
Also I saw The Three Musketeers. Germany apparently got it first? HUH. That never happens!
This is a movie that very clearly set out to deliver a cheerful "FUCK YOU!" to everyone who cares about anachronisms and such in their movies. OH WELL.
Anyway, Juno Temple as Queen Anne was the best. Also Orlando Bloom. Any and all scenes he had were great, because he really played the camp to the hilt. His Duke of Buckingham had A LOT of chemistry with Matthew Macfadyen's Athos. HEE.
Obviously Richelieu was a lot of fun. My Dad: "Oh, the Cardinal de Richelieu is my favourite non-villainous villain!" Me: ".... uh."
Also also I thought the map sequences were really neat.
Everyones' CLOTHES, YOU GUYS. FASHUUN FUCK YEAH.
Oh, oh, and ARAMIS. ARAMIS MY LOVE, MY FOREVER FAVOURITE. Okay, so when he first shows up wearing glasses, I pretty much swooned. <333
In other news: my some time mentor sent me an email that he is now the head honcho at the main university library. Where I occasionally work. RUH ROH.
Also also also planted roses today. <3
