I shouldn't be surprised at anything that happens in this school anymore, but I am.

Er, so apparently Mrs Malfoy got tired of lounging around her manor and decided to work for a change? Because it can't be that she needs the money.

And before anyone says anything, this is my journal and I've the right to write my opinions in it. I haven't been disrespectful or, what's the word? Right, yes, defamed anyone ( Read more... )

You know, you really should watch what you say in here. It seems like everything you write gets you into trouble. Haven't you learned by now?

By the by, how's your nose?

I heard you're back in school because Goldstein tip-toed up behind you and yelled "BOO!"

Well, he wasn't exactly behind me.

Didn't your own mother threaten you with detention last night?

So he fled the castle for great and newfound power and he's using it to yell "BOO" at high-strung Hufflepuffs. How impressive.

That wasn't my Mother. That was Professor Malfoy.

He didn't exactly yell boo either. Don't be jealous, Malfoy. It doesn't suit you.

It might as well have been Boo, since you're clearly not dead and weren't mortally wounded. And I'm not jealous, I'm judgemental. Obviously there's a vase and huge difference between the two.

Somebody should do something about criminals using these journals freely.

Have I committed a crime? I was not aware.

Let's see... Knocking out Harry Potter... Knocking out Professor Moody... Freeing a Death Eater... BEING a Death Eater... I don't know if you've participated in the Azkaban takeover, but you told Lucius Malfoy that there were some good news for him coming up, so you certainly knew about it...

Unless what you actually mean is that in your eyes those are not crimes because you believe in your "cause", etc. In that case, you will never be aware of the difference between right and wrong, so I can't really help you there.

I think I am more aware than anyone of the difference between right and wrong.

Tell me, Smith, when was the last time you did something to change your life? For better or for worse? Or are you comfortable in that mass-irritating rut of yours?

Are you really? What's the difference between right and wrong according to you then?

I should hope never to get so uncomfortable with my "mass-irritating rut" that doing what you've done seems reasonable or acceptable. And yes, you've changed your life for the worse, congratulations.
