My little Chinese tailor lady says that all the time... "so much... so much..." when referring to my pants that need hemming. Last time I went in, I was getting a jacket altered, and I learned she spoke more English - "little boobs better anyway". Aw, gee, thanks. :)
ANYWAYS so much! First, I got into Georgetown! Hurrah! And the guy handwrote a note on my acceptance letter - which I'm thinking is a good sign. So maybe I'll get into more places than I thought I would. Although Georgetown and Columbia are the 2 places with international law programs, so really... I don't need to get into anywhere else. Kickass. I definitely pulled something jumping around my apartment after opening the letter.
Also, Obama won in Virginia today, which I am proud to say I was a part of. I was an hour late to work, but it was my civic duty. :)
Also, the writer's strike is over which means more LOST. Chuck, however, may not be back until next fall.
Also, this whole Gene Nichol business is really upsetting. I wrote an email to him and to the Board of Visitors. Which has helped me make some peace with it because at least I've had my say, but... *sigh* It really upsets me that a few people with money can have so much influence over a public institution of higher learning, especially one that I hold to such high standards.
Finally, I've been working 60-80 hour weeks. It's been rough. But I'm reeling in the dough, so that's cool.
