I want to start a punk rock band. We'll rock out hardcore, putting poetry to punk music.
Our first song will be Frank O'Hara's "Having a Coke With You." The next will be Billy Collins' "Marginalia."
I just want to see people with piercings and crazy hair wearing plaid and moshing while I flail on a guitar and scream "it seems they were all cheated of some marvellous experience which is not going to go wasted on me which is why I am telling you about it -- YEAH! ROCK OUT!" and I am jumping up and down and I have back-up singers on the bass and the drums crooning "a Coke with you! A Coke with yooouuuu!" and we are all fucking bad ass.
You would come to my shows. You know it.
So. Who wants to learn to play instruments and play in my punk rock band with me? :D
ADDENDUM: At this rate, I am going to go broke on iTunes, and I just can't do that right now. Can someone plz advise on a good client for music downloads?
