The Roof
I've taken to sitting out on my roof and having a cup of tea around this time of night, sometimes later. It's so quiet out there. I can see stars, and I can think. Think about life, or just contemplate my tea. I enjoy that so much. Just sitting, not even thinking about serious stuff that makes my head hurt. Just to sit. To enjoy. I wish I had someone to share it with, but I really do enjoy the solitude of it all.
"There's only us, there's only this. Forget regret or life is yours to miss. No other road, no other way, no day but today!" ( I watched rent today.)
And of course, I am as happy as I can be. I'll just use my roof to escape and enjoy my solitude.
