Lawn mowed, lots of rain, and more boredom
I mowed the lawn Friday afternoon. I was glad I did, because it rained the following day. The grass had gotten a little tall because of all the rain, so it really needed it.
It's been raining nearly every other day for the past week. Fall is here, and the weather is showing it. The street was finished just over a week ago, so there is this nice black asphalt pavement outside along with new curbs. It looks so nice. The trees have started shedding leaves, so I'll have the wonderful duty of taking care of the leaves when I work on the lawn.
I haven't had much luck finding a job. I've applied at a few places, and waiting to see if I get any callbacks. I was at my local favorite computer store, where I had applied, and I found out that no actual final decision was made, and I was getting something of an impromptu interview while waiting for a customer to purchase a computer I'd helped her pick out. I am thinking to email the person and apologize for the awkward conversation, because I was going back and forth between my friend/customer and talking with him. At any rate, the job hunt goes on and I hope I will get something to raise money for college.
