College finances--private loan denied
Well, here I am sitting at home, the day before classes start, knowing I won't be able to attend. Last night when I got home from my brother's house, I went online and checked the status of the loan. It was declined because of something in the credit report they acquired.
I could go, but I'd be $6500 short. I could start in spring, and need considerably less, but if there is still something wrong in the credit check, I can't get the loan with my dad cosigning. It looks like I will have to get a full-time job, build up a credit history, and draw them up myself with my dad cosigning, and hopefully that will work.
