You're welcome. I don't usually cry or make a huge deal when my personal heroes die. At least, not the ones I didn't know personally. But for Kurt, I had to make an exception.
Thanks for reading. I didn't cry when I heard, but I did when I wrote this. I guess I just started thinking about all the times his writing touched me and that was enough.
I always felt a little lucky and awed that I actually lived while Kurt Vonnegut lived. Perhaps because at some point in my very early life I had him confused with Mark Twain.
I've saved up and treasured the books of his I haven't yet red, including Player Piano.
