Its January the what-th now?
Bloody hell but that was a busy couple of weeks, including but not limited to:
Getting a solicitor to put a note of interest on the lovely house
Second viewing of the lovely house
Cutting the palm of my hand with a cinnamon stick
Being white van people for my b-day weekend
Clearing the flat of enough stuff to fill a 35 sq mtr storage unit
Sourcing langoustine for a family b-day dinner
Clearing the living room of everything
Having the decorators in to do the living room
Having the bedroom be the only living space available for five days
Arranging the Estate Agent to come take photos and put the house on the market
Getting the flat into a state suitable for the EAs visit
Going to work
Add that most of this was done in the freezing cold / snow / ice that we have had for the last two weeks.
We are knackered - I'm not sure we have had a day of R&R since we first saw the lovely house on 04/01/15. But we will also have the flat on the market by the middle of next week, and we have had the signs that the lovely house may get a closing date next week. So we should be in a position to put in an offer. Finger crossed please.
