Summer is coming!
It's been a nice week in my neck of the cyber-woods. We've had great weather, sunny and with highs in the mid 70sf/ mid 20sC. Great weather to sit in my tiny back "yard" in a comfy lounge with a good book. This is unusually summery weather for the PNW. We rarely get this much sun so early in the summer!
My incision dehiscence has increased.From a couple spots of maybe an inch and a half to one big opening maybe 2/3 of the whole thing; so maybe 5 inches. It's apparently healing as expected though I have to say not nearly as quickly as I'd prefer. I have to change the dressings several times a day. It still creeps me out to look down and see muscle tissue. Gah! The doctors are saying "6 to 8 weeks" now for it to heal.
I did feel well enough today to go out for lunch with my mom. We went to a favorite local place of mine and ate sitting outside. It really wiped me out, but it was nice to actually leave my house for a bit!
