My room is clean because it is a show room for the campus. They show prospective students the room, so it has to be presentable AT ALL TIMES. Corrie made her bed like 2 minutes after I took the picture. The floor is actually filthy. Corrie and I track in dirt, plus our floor has been polished so many times (since the 1960s) that any kind of friction (such as pulling a chair away from a desk) causes the polish to chip and flake and creates a sand all over the floor. There's no stuff on the floor because it would get super filthy.
The dorm is cozy, but gets cramped sometimes. Also, WHITE CINDERBLOCK WALLS ARE NEVER COZY. Florescent lighting, isn't either.
Anyway: 1) I really don't remember. I do remember your poem about mice or something. 2) I can't really think of anything. What do you watch/listen to? 3) I remember those really cute magnets you made with those cute stickers. 4) The aforementioned mouse poem, but also a bubble poem. 5) A kitty. 6) How do you pronouce your first name? I always feel terrible when I don't know how to pronouce foreign names and I butcher them right in front of the poor person. Last year I met a girl names Asama'u (ah-sa-ma-oo) and man, it took me like 10 tries to get it right. 7) Well, you only have the one. It's pretty though.
2 - I don't really listen to anything. I just don't really listen to music. My first and last CD that I bought was the first one by the Backstreet Boys. Otherwise, I just listen to whatever Chuck puts on. Usually rap. But you won't see me turning on the radio by myself. As for movies, I don't really go to the theater anymore. I used to skip school to line up on the first day for movies like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Spiderman, etc.
6 - It's pronounced "Nun-tuh-pond" in Thai, but I'm usually OK with "NAN-tha-pond" too. Although I do have a made up "internet" name which stuck when I came to Washington. It's Reina (RAY-nuh). Of course, no one in California calls me that, but everyone in Washington does. Once there was a pretty girl named Reina. She was Japanese. I wanted to look like her and started calling myself Reina online. This was like 5th grade. It's kind of weird and I do respond to both. I also have a third name, which is my nickname, given to me by my parents. It's Brunei (bru-nye) but only family and friends know of it. Some of my friends pronounce is "bru-nay," which is fine too. Damn, I have a lot of names.
