Another Long Night
Why do I only post when I can't sleep?
I have to be at work in 3 hours, and I haven't slept at all yet tonight. I laid in bed from 11:30 to 3:30, but it was just a lot of tossing and turning and fussing with sheets, fans, etc. Insomnia really sucks.
Speaking of work, I am interning at State Farm again this summer, as some of you know. I've been there for three weeks, with two of those weeks being training. So far, I have learned a lot. I'm not sure I've actually done anything of use yet, but it will come. I'm still being trained, really. For $14 an hour, it's a super sweet deal.
This month marks 6 years since I met Mike. Our three year anniversary is in one month. That's kind of crazy. It feels like we only met a few weeks ago, and yet I feel like I've known him forever.
My friends Shad and Sara got married last week. Those two are so sweet, and so in love. I hope they stay this happy forever.
I have a really weird story to post sometime. Not tonight, though.
I'm shopping for a car. I think I want to buy a brand new hybrid, but I don't know if I can afford to. Also, I don't know if it's the best thing for me to do right now. I'd appreciate any insight any of you have to offer.
Dream Theater released a new album this Tuesday. I have only listened to it once, but it was awesome. I'm going with Mike to see them in concert on August 10th.
I've been watching VH1's late-night music videos. So far, 98% of them have sucked. Right now a Bon Jovi video is on... IT'S A COUNTRY SONG. God save us all.
