So yesterday I spent a lot of time driving, since it takes about 5.5 hours to get from my mom and dad's to here. Kara listens to her DVD player in the car so she and I don't listen to the same things, so my entertainment has always been audio books or podcasts. This time it was podcasts because the book I had checked out was a dud and didn't hold my interest. Here are my current favorite podcasts:
Nerdist (I enjoy their interviews... I don't enjoy their "hostfull" casts - I do wish they didn't cuss so much. I can't listen to it if Kara is able to hear what I'm listening to.
NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me
NPR's This American Life
NPR's Pop Culture Happy Hour
The Alton Brown Cast
The Life of Dad Podcast - they give good interviews too and they are actually clean with their speech, only wish they didn't interview so many sports stars... because I don't know any of them.
Daily Knowledge Podcast
And our Church's podcast of the week's sermons
But I find that I listen to podcasts enough that on long trips sometimes I run out of stuff to listen to. Do any of you (of my wopping three readers) listen to podcasts? Do you have any suggestions? I'll probably post that question on FB too.
