Man I had such a good night last night. Went to a Ukranian new Years social with Nadia. If you hav'nt had the chance to polka, get on it! I love it, it's not my first time I've done it, but it's always soo mch fun. Man alive some of the polkas last forever I would bet big money that one of the songs lasted over 10 mins, I had two partners during the course of it! As you can imagine, it's very tiring. If you're looking for a way to sculpt your legs, learning to polka is a good one.
So a friend from school and I were talking about driving to mexico during the summer. It'd be really fun, but the chance of it happening, at least for me, are pretty slim to not going to happen lol. Oh well it's fun to look into it, read some travel magazines.
Today was my mom's birthday! It was nice, Tiff, Sammi and I bought her a bunch of stuff from the body shop. I Love my Mom!
I watched Sleepy Hollow with my Dad today, somehow watching it with him made me less afraid...not that it was a crazy scary movie to begin with. It was an ok movie, I liked the mystery of it, and trying to figure it out.
This moring my family and I watched a sermon(video taped), it put things into perspective to me. The speaker(don't remeber his name) is big into astrology, he made a lot of comparisons of the earth to stars, galaxies etc. He said that the size if the earth compared to the Mily Way, our galaxy, is like a quater compared to North America. It's pretty incredible. The earth is so insignificant in comparison to the universe, or even just to our own galaxy. He showed a bunch of other galaxies, and you wonder what the purpose of them is, in the bible it says that God made them for his own pleasure/enjoyment. Like there's a huge universe beyond anything anyone's ever seen, the earth is so small, WE are so small and God came to our planet to die for our problems, our sins. The more I think about this the more incredible it feels to me.
Night!
