People (and by that I mean fans) Are Crazy

Jul 26, 2013 21:38

I've just seen a little of it, but there are some people flipping their shit on behalf of the Ackles family because some paps at the airport got a picture of the baby. The main complaint seems to be that the Ackles have made a public statement saying they didn't want baby photos released.

I so agree. God help us, there are pod people everywhere. What are they trying to achieve? I can't even imagine.

LOL She doesn't seem to care with this photo in US magazine, so maybe fan hysteria strikes again.

She wanted these photos. Danneel is not stupid. She knows at the airport are photographers, she could have let her baby lie in the stroller, she could have used a thin blanket or something and none could have catched a climpse. She wanted to show off her babe... like any proud and happy mom.

Really...some fans have no life.

From what I understand a fan asked Jensen when we would see a picture of the baby and his reply was (this is not a direct quote) 'give us some time'. This was immediately latched onto by the 'crazy' fans and turned into something far more than it was actually meant to be.

The pictures were taken by a photographer who (again this is how I understood it to happen) saw Danneel and asked if they could take some shots. Danneel did not care and is actually smiling into the camera in a couple. There was no press release from the Ackles family only an off-handed comment by Jensen at a convention about giving them some time.

Folks really need to get a life...No seriously they do. *rolls eyes*

Wow. When does trying to "protect" your celebrity crush twist in on itself and become more invasive than the so-called "normal" attention? I think we may be reaching critical mass.
