Show is back, yay!

I'm so happy it's back, and this was a fun episode!

Oh, Castiel, that little lie to the guys is going to come back and bite you in the ass, I'm fairly certain. Sure, let Balthazar take the blame so you still look good to the Winchesters. Lying to cover your own ass and not lose the respect of the two people you care most about? How very human of you.

I like that they changed some things without any explanation of how those differences occurred because of the Titanic not sinking. The Impala not existing, how Bobby and Ellen got together--I'm seriously curious about the how, but no explanation was really required for the plot. I'm sure fanfiction will be written to explain it all, in a variety of ways.

I loved Bobby and Ellen's relationship. There was obviously so much affection and love there, and showed a softer side to both characters. The bickering was awesome, too. Hee.

I must give credit to Jared and Jensen, especially Jared, for their comedic acting skills. Their reactions to all the weird happenings around them were fantastic. Particularly the "tempting fate" nervousness--they were so hilariously tense and jumpy. Oh, and the witnessing of the Bus of Death. It's also so good to see Sam and Dean's relationship back to normal. Loved the look Sam gave Dean at hearing Dean didn't think Titanic was all bad as a movie.

My favorite part of the altered timeline? Celine Dion is an anonymous hack lounge singer in Quebec. Hee! I wonder how they managed to scrape up the dough to get the rights to that song. Not to mention Blondie--far more awesome song, there.

Anyone else think Balthazar was giving the guys a deliberate clue by calling himself I.P. Freeley in 1912? Come on, anyone who's ever been eight knows that one. And was it just to mess with them, or did he want them to figure it out and call Castiel on a bad decision?
