DVDs on the brain
I've been mainlining NCIS the last three weeks or so; in fact, Tuesday I was home sick and I think I got through six episodes. I've finished the first four seasons and I'm nearing critical mass here. Meaning, I've watched so much so fast I'm on the verge of getting sick of it. Plus, it follows me into my dreams. The other night I dreamt DiNozzo was my college boyfriend and he dropped dead in my dorm room. He'd been shot, and there was blood everywhere. For a change of pace, I'm going to switch to Season 5 of Supernatural for a few days.
I actually had a refreshingly productive day at work today--hope tomorrow goes just as well, so my weekend off gets off on the right foot. Next weekend I'll be taking a road trip to Davenport for the Quad Cities Highland Games, then probably swinging by Des Moines to crash at my aunt's house for the night. Loads of driving that day, yeesh. But check this out--I have the next three weekends off, work the fourth weekend, then my vacation starts, giving me the following three weekends off. Worked out pretty slick, eh? ;D Soooo looking forward to it.
