(no subject)
i haven't updated in forever... but i think i probably should start again. so from now on, you'll see more of me back on here :D
i got promoted! i'm now a petty officer third class (which means i need to update my LJ icon. it still has my seaman apprentice patch on my uniform... 2 paygrades down from now) i haven't officially put on third class yet, i don't get to do that until tomorrow when we have this big formal ceremony with the CO. also, i heard a bit of good news today from the captain himself. we'll most likely be going into drydock. that means that either 1.) we won't be going out to sea in january (wooo!) or 2.) we won't be going on deployment in march (huzzah!). option 2 would be preferable, but i'd take either. any extra time i get to have in port is great.
let's see... what else do i have going on? i have all sorts of boys interested in me... can't quite decide which way i wanna go. haha. i'm a whore like that... maybe i should put up a little entry about them? document the wonderful comings and goings of my life for posterity? (yeah, right. as if anyone cares. XD)
i can't really think of much anything else. my mind is kind of a blur today. i'm full of caffeine from a gigantic coffee i had this morning to keep me awake during my petty officer indoctrination class. so perhaps i should go and continue this another time?
