Are you still alive? It turns out, I am.
This week I have:
+ attended the U-district Street Fair
+ bought a new pair of wings
+ been experiencing vertigo and headache!
+ been to Urgent Care (like a slower version of the ER)
+ fallen into a table (while sitting in a chair in front of it, not moving!)
+ found my missing karaoke CDs (more than 30) in the middle of my living room
+ acquired 2 new DVD shelves (Ikea Benno Tower) and 1 new bookshelf (Ikea Laiva Bookcase)
+ registered for PAX
+ saw Iron Man 2 (liked it)
Last week:
+ received minor head trauma by getting hit on the head with a hatchback hatch (with no hydraulic to hold it up) on its way down [longer version of story]
+ diagnosed with concussion
+ drooled and slept a lot due to head pain
Since my last communique I have:
+ werked a lot
+ attended SakuraCon 2010 (no pictures, really; sorry!)
+ attended Norwescon 2010 (Cory Doctorow was a GoH)
+ confirmed that I will be attending Comic-Con
+ acquired an iPad
+ been assigned a werk-provided MacBook Pro (so I can work remotely!)
+ bought an iMac
+ gotten myself a Diana F+ with the instant back attachment
+ taken more pictures with actual film (albeit instant film) than I have with digital
+ considered a new digital camera anyway
+ hardly done any writing
+ werked a lot
+ gotten a raise at werk (
)
+ been to a live comedy show (Gabriel Ingelsias)
+ took a day trip to Portland (specifically to visit Powell's City of Books)
+ donated blood
+ totally been werking so much that I haven't had time to read livejournal/many sites (or do anything creative, really)
I need to:
+ fully recover from my concussion
+ eat lunch
+ finish re-organising all of my bookshelves
+ get rid of clothes/books I'm no longer using
+ decide on cosplay and corsets for the summer conventions
+ try to actually create stuf again (writing, photos, whatever)
+ update more often
+ catch up with the Internets
Tonight I am:
+ seeing Straight No Chaser
I have totally missed you, my livejournal friends. I have not yet had an opportunity to catch up or read friend entries, so please feel free (again) to let me know in comments what I may have missed... I am going to try to do a better job with keeping up. I know some of you may have moved elsewhere by now. :( Sorry I haven't been around.
