So, yeah, I say that I don't do the whole rhymey thing, and I really don't usually like it either.  But here's a rhymey sing-songy one because, well, because I can do it.  And this one kinda ended up turning out like that....

Picture hanging on the wall

Reminds me of when I was small

In make-believe, pretend and play

Innocent, I’d spend the day

Wasn’t sad, nor suffered gloom

Was never locked inside my room

Never saw the pain outside

When concerned, the grown-ups lied

Eventually I grew out

Of make-believe and tuning out

And so I saw the world out there

And it seemed to me like no one cared

Oh picture why do you remind me?

Of days when I was small and happy.
