Anne Frank
Last night I finished reading the diary of Anne Frank. Part of me reconnected with my old fourteen year old self in that way of thinking, which was surreal given the circumstances of the journal, and then this line:
"Anne Frank's diary ends here."
This one line effected me more than anything I experienced in any form of media thus far. Of course I knew what happens after that, but by the time I got to that point it truly didn't matter.
