...I'm just posting now so I'll stop being such a chickenshit about talking about it. I'm moving again, at the end of--later this month. June 25th, to be precise. We're going back to Mobile, although (thank GOD!) not back to the same church. Work is...put it this way: all that "dying of stress up in here, y'all" you've been getting from me lately? Work-related. All of it. I fucked up back in February and I'm still getting kicked in the ass from it now. I'm not out of options, though, so yeah. It's pretty much consumed my non-online life though, so I really don't care to get into the nitty gritty here. I'm over talking about it. Again, more on the move later. I'm half-asleep now.
Also, go see Robin Hood. I'm picky about Robin Hood movies; much as I love the Robin Hood mythos, it isn't enough for a movie to not fuck it up. They've got to do something [i]right[/i]. This movie does it right. It doesn't hold to the letter of the legend (Although Robin Hood's the sort of legend that you really have to let that go on; "original" sources, if my information is right, are few and far between.), but it holds to the [i]spirit[/i] of the legend. Also, it's got a gorgeous soundtrack, a good cast, plenty of snark and political intrigue--brilliant combination--and best of all, I absolutely adore both Marian and the Merry Men. There may be fic soon. Or there may not, but here's the best recommendation I can give for a movie: it doesn't [i]need[/i] fic to complete the storyline, but it makes me want to write, anyway.
