This is--gah, this is way ahead of the plot where we last left it. I was hoping (HA!) that I'd get the earlier fics done first, but not so much. Yet. Anyhoo, I'm not hitting the comm with this till I've got them all to put into the proper order. Consider this a preview. It's mostly Jim and Bones, so you're not really missing anything essential

Excellent. /Excellent/. I'm sorry, but protective!Jim is probably my favourite ever (Well, besides Jim in any equation of hurt/comfort, that is) and you did a fantastic job showcasing that protectiveness. Well done!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. IIRC (this series is primarily spread across a half-dozen notebooks at the moment, and I'm not sure where all of them ended up after the last move), this series is more bromance than romance, and I'm not always talking about Spock. There is definitely going to be a relationship--I can't wait to get to the "morning after" fic, because it involves Bones finding them in bed and Jim proving that he was born without shame--but most of it's off-screen. In fact, the fic I'm most excited about in this series isn't slashy at all, it's traumatized!Bones and protective!Jim. So. I hope you'll be able to continue to enjoy the series.
