Been a long time since I did one of these, hasn't it? Well, Sogyo no Kotowari and Katen Kyokotsu keep showing up only to disappear, so I'm doing this in the hopes that they'll stick around long enough to be written this time. I am rapidly getting to the point where your characterisation of the various swords is becoming canon in my head. After reading that I now want to read sword porn. I blame you.

Really look forward to reading more of these. You can probably guess which swords I'd really like you to do next..*grins*

*grin* Hey, you knew about that in advance, at least in general. I seem to recall mentioning it. I don't think I connected the concept to these two, although they were undoubtedly the ones I was thinking about at the time.

Okay... what *is* the concept? Or is it just the spirits having fun together in their inner world?

I *do* like that their worlds are connected.

Ah, I'm probably remembering it wrong. I can never keep what I've said and what I think I've said straight. Basically, once the shinigami has achieved shikai, the zanpakutou spirit can move out of their world and into others'. And they do all the things humans do when they go visiting: make friends, make enemies, make messes and, occasionally, take lovers. Insert bridge concept *here*. If one zanpakutou always goes to the other's home, the bridge is one way. If they go back and forth, so does the bridge. I haven't decided yet whether or not a non-romantic relationship of an equal closeness will also build a bridge, but I'm leaning towards yes. *grin* The sword porn comes in just because I've stated that they can have sex, therefore they must be.

..although I'd also love to see your take on Benehime (think I spelt that right) and Matsumoto's sword whose name escapes me at the moment.

Weeeeell, I've had someone else poking me about Nameless and Senbonzakura today, so that might happen sometime, if only to calm those two down. Haineko I don't have anything on at the moment, other than the fact that she balances Hyourinmaru in much the same way Matsumoto balances Hitsugaya ( ... )
