Today I took my final A.P. test which went...okay.
The multiple choice was easier than I expected but the test as a whole kicked my ass. The free response was alright. Question 3(which is a response we construct and choose a peice of literature to analyze) was pretty easy. It was all about symbolism and I used Breakfast at Tiffany's which the test proctor LOVED[she asked me after which novel I used]. We were done by 11:45 so I booked it home and changed, grabbed lunch and went to the barn.
Pony is better :-)
He warmed up quite nicely and finished strong. I've decided that for leg yields(at least for a while) I'm going to do them on the wrong diagonal, as he floats over. We worked a little bit in canter and to the right he was fabulous! Which is interesting, as that's usually his bad way. But with him, any lightness and correctness he gives gets BIG praise and a break. I finished with some nice canter to the left and just let him go; which he loves.
Sarah was riding Simmy so we went for a 'trail ride' which is really road riding, but still fun! I can't wait until the XC and surrounding areas dry out so we can go exploring(well probably Julie and I, Sarah and Simmy leave in the middle of May to go back home). Captain was a very.good.boy road riding. Usually he finds an excuse to turn his butt to the ditch and try back for home or purposely find something to spook at. I'm so in love that little horse. It killed me today and Monday to not be at Sue's in the morning and at least see him.
HENRY WAS GIVEN A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH AND IS CLEARED FOR WALK AND TROT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eeeeeeeek I love that furry old man, even if he does whinny like a woman :D
