Boo yeah I have my apartment! Though my furniture currently consists of a futon, I am having a load of stuff be moved from home to here, and I should have it dropped off by Tuesday. In theory of course. It's nice to have a place of my own, it doesn't have the dead feeling I was getting from the dorms. Probably because they have grass on the grounds, and the pool is right outside my door so I can see water. OOOOOOH! I know what you're thinking right? Grass and water? Why is he getting so excited? That's because Arizona is freaking dry and desolate.
I moved all my stuff from my dorm room this weekend, amazingly all in my tiny little car. I'm still amazed I was able to get my futon in there. The only problem with the move was that I wore myself down pretty bad and I got a tad sick, and from some stuff I heard in work tonight I might have gotten valley fever. But I really can't be sure, whenever I get sick I always get this worn down. But it's not too bad and due to DayQuil and NyQuil I've been feeling a little better.
I'd really like to know why they keep putting me on Mid shift. They keep saying things like "oh it's only going to be for 60 days and then you'll switch shifts." ... I was on Mids for 7 months. Although they did put me on days for almost three weeks in there, though even during that they had me filling in for people who were going on leave on Mid shift. And here I find myself again on Mid Shift, but what's even more crazy is that instead of wasting 2 or 3 peoples time by having them on this shift, they have SEVEN! there are seven of us sitting around doing nothing! I'm half tempted to bring in D&D books and seeing if anyone wants to play!
Let's see.. what else has been going on.. Oh! I found out why my neck was always so screwed up. I saw the X-Ray myself. My neck starts going straight, then it angles to the left (not forward or backward mind you, the LEFT!) then goes up straight again. Hooray! I knew my neck was fucked up! The chiropracter is working on it, but it'll probably be awhile before it's better.
On the Lauren issue. I'm still trying to get here out here, now that I have the apartment it'll be a lot easier. Now the only problem is her Dad. The easiest way for her to get out her is to get her state ID and fly here. The only problem with that is to get her ID she needs to have someone go with her that lives in Michigan when she gets the ID to prove that she lives there. Which would be her Dad. But he won't take her by there to get it. I've reccomned her to have her Mom take her, but the problem there is that her Mom's lisense is suspended and wouldn't help in anyway. So that's a giant fiasco. If that continues I'll have to drive out there grab her and drive back here. Which would be a tad expensive, and my finances can't really afford such a venture for a little bit. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? It'd be a great help.
Other than that time just kind of moves on. I'm looking around to see if I can get a special duty assignment to get me out of here. Possibly Japan or England. Not sure which one I'd go for more. I just know I want out of AZ, it's too freaking dead.
Well that's all my friends. Keep in touch!
