Meh news and happy news!
Well I wasn't able to get the futon I wanted, they sold out the one I wanted. So bah! So I'll still have my military bed for awhile now.
Now for the happy news! I should be getting my car tomorrow!! Wooo!!!! It's a white 2006 Toyota Scion xA. Boo yeah! *does happy dance* The payments are going to be $309/month and my insurance will be $219. Oh so happy! Now I just need to decide on the name for it.. I'm thinking Nadesico, but I'm not sure if I want to go complete Otaku and name it after an anime. Any suggestions for it?
In other new I had a fairly decent weekend. On friday we had a BBQ at the dorm, it was some fairly decent steak too. Afterwards everyone went and played football in the ditch by the dorms, it was the most I've seen our dorm do together. Of course in my usual not slackerness I just reffed and kept track of where the line was. Of course after it got dark the alcoholic dorm rats popped out it started to get stupid, and I took off for awhile. A little while latter I dropped back by to check on a friend that was still down there and found him utterly plastered, and he had never been drunk before. Thankfully he was being led away by a friend up to his room, and of course we recorded his drunken silliness and he watched it the next day. It was all quite amusing.
and that's about it for now. Though now if people want to come out and visit now I will now have a car! Woo!!
