Recent math problem that's interesting enough to stick in my head but not interesting enough to solve:

Say that for every day, I have some amount of change in my pockets, which I put into a pile. The value is any number 0-99 cents, with equal probability of any of them. Any value is using the minimum number of coins to get that value.

Some day, I sort the pile, and discover I have 47 nickels. What's the most likely number of dimes for me to have?

What's the standard deviation of numbers of dimes?

If I have x nickels, what's the likeliest values of pennies, dimes, and quarters?
