New apartment
Ok, so I realized I never updated ppl on what the new place is like. It's great! It's so quiet here, we never hear ppl arguing or anything. We have one apartment we're next to and that's it! He plays music sometimes, but it's not nearly as loud and we only hear about 2 songs and then it'd quiet.
We have a much bigger balcony. We're going to grow cucumbers in the box Jason just built, and herbs in a window box. Only thing we have to get is chicken wire to keep the squirrels from digging everything up! They killed my roses and keep damaging other plants. *shakes fist*
Only thing I don't like about the apartment is that there's very little storage and since it's a handicap apartment there's absolutely no storage in the bathroom or a counter top. Luckily my parents had a medicine cabinet laying around. We're eventually going to buy a small cabinet or bookcase for the bathroom. Trying to sell Jason's mini fridge and maybe the old microwave cart and get a big buffet instead. Something we could put booze, maybe CDs, etc.. in.
It's small, so no real housewarming party, but it's still a lot better than what we had to deal with at the last place. They also put grills out by the pool in the spring. Hopefully we'll use those.
