Good times
So.. I was wrong about New Years. I now see that there are definite advantages to having a two house party. The night at Carlos' house was (mostly) drama free. Yes, I know there were 2 couples who had some fairly quiet drama amongst themselves, but that seemed to be it and was barely noticed by most. So good time all around except the plagues that seemed to be going around.
Jason and I also went to dinner with my sister Kirsten. She wants to do stuff with us a lot on the weekends now. She brought my parents along. Yay family time? But anyway.. we went to Cafe Oromia in Burtonsville. It's very good. Yummy yummy Etheopian food and well, coffees. Seriously, go there. It's on Old Columbia/198 next to the Subway. Then we went home and I went to sleep since I'm still sick. Yup, had a bad cold before New Years, started getting over that, then caught something else. At least I had today off. Went on a cleaning binge and feel much better for rest and productiveness.
Also.. Kirsten offered to take me on an out of the country trip to a place of my choosing. I have no idea where I want to go. Any ideas? For you people who have traveled, where are the good places to go?
