So, I joined a gym on tuesday and I went in for my first session today.
I only managed 1/2 an hour on the treadmill, about 2 kilometers and a couple of hundred calories burnt.
But I felt good, I got my heart rate up for a good 20 minutes, I sweated and I left feeling like I want to go back.
I need to get a cheapo personal radio thingamie, because you can listen to the tv's with one. I don't think my itty bitty ipod does that, but I know you can get them for like $20. Music is good to workout to, cause you can work to the beat, but I think tv is better for the treadmill/bikes etc cause you can lose yourself in the programme and forget about how long you've been going.
What I'd really like is a programme about cruise ships, one that goes for about 45 minutes that I can watch on Char's little dvd player. That'd keep me motivated cause there was a clip for one while I was there and I kept thinking about Mexico and how much I want to fit into a wetsuit to swim with the dolphins and look hot snorkelling.
Sheesh, do I sound enough like an air-head hehe
Gotta get some new recruits! I had 4 or 5 warm leads over the weekend, but I'm still not sure if any are going to pan out.
Another of my girls got the sack, so I'm back to 1 again. Bugger it! Gotta keep recruiting, 1 a month!! I really wanted 2 this month.....
I'll have to try and pick up on sales too, I'm about $10,000 short of my goal so far this year.

At regional it was announced that I'm in the top 100 on track to achieve Mexico. Which was pretty cool, cause it was mostly managers, there was only 2 other consultants in our region. The biggest region in the company. YAY! I'm all special n stuff. I wish that didn't mean so much to me. Maybe I'm shallow :/

Anywho, time to go pick up the children. Also gotta head to the printers!
