(no subject)
Solo & Ensemble is finally over. 4 more blue ribbons are added to the stack. What do those ribbons mean? a representation of time spent on hours an d hours of practicing. I know not whether it is a waste of time to do cello, but sometimes, it just seems so worthless. maybe these sentiments are just because i feel depressed right now. Solo Ensemble just takes so much emotion out of you. it tires me. i sometimes wish that i wasn't so good or that i wasn't so dedicated to orchestra, but then i realize that the orchestra would be fairly worthless without me and that i'd probably be some loser pothead or something without it. I guess it will be all better tomorrow maybe, once i've had some time to recover
