Totally random and meaningless post
I don't know what's wrong with me, but, I'm watching Oprah, and it's making me cry! That woman can always get people to cry... The show is about prostitutes. It is incredibly sad that these women were so desperate that they felt they had to sell themselves just to survive. It is heartbreaking to think that these women have such low self esteem or that something so horrible has happened to them to make them do this.. I wasn't going to write about this here, but became engrossed as I was going to write. Now, I don't even remember what I was going to write...
On a completely different subject; It is Friday, and I cannot go anywhere. I had planned to go to Higher Ground- I REALLY wanted to see Karen Grenier! :( Alas, we have no money... Such is our story lately... So, on my agenda tonight is a plethora of girly things:
~ I MUST pluck my eyebrows- I would prefer to get them waxed, but as I stated above, NO RICCHEZZA! (that's no wealth, for Italians)
~ I finally got my Body Butter from the Body Shop- I can properly moisturize again, so a shower will happen- seriously, I can't live without this stuff
~ My skin has not been great, so a mask will be applied
~ I have a new bottle of organic wine, so I'm sure I will have a glass... or 2
~ A new copy of Bitch magazine arrived in my mailbox today- this always makes me happy. There is something about a brand-spanking new magazine...
Is it sad and pathetic that this is my Friday night?
