I´m so sorry that it took me so long to post more pictures. It´s absolutely ridiculous how fast I´m back on the treadmill already. School started on Tuesday this week and I´m already busy as a bee. But no complaints I love my work in the parents´ association and my "alimental" job is currently tolerable.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. We had a lot of fun and, although, I don´t know and can´t predict what will happen in the near future I´ll go there again, for sure!
The pictures of Lisbon will follow soon. Promised :-)
Some awesome views from the "Lago". I probably will never get enough of it!
The picture is a bit blurry but the kids (Patrick and the daughters of my friend) had so much fun on the dance floor with "balloon-fighting" :-) We were visiting a little village fair close to our vacation home.
This is a typical "Painter"-shop at the Lago. There´re a lot artist around and the all have just one motif: the Lago di Garda and the landscape :-)
A very characteristic resitential building in the North of Italy...
...with a lot of alleys and passages:
Okay, this is so totally posed but Patrick necessarily wanted to take a picture of me >:O
This is how some restaurants and bistros sprinkle their awnings to get a little bit cooling for their guests:
Yeah, skin-diving :-)
And last but not least; this picture shows a ruinous "lemonaia", a lemon plantation, where they grew lemons in former times. The Lago di Garda was famous for it´s good lemons. This kind of architcture can only be found at the lago.
Hopefully, you recieved a little impression of the beauty and feature of this area. It is such a wonderful place to go and I can highly recommend it to everyone who has the chance to get there.
Love to you all, Heike
