Summerfest - anxiety :-O
Tomorrow we have our summer fest at Patrick’s School. Wish me luck that everything is going well. I’m excited as hell because I organized it almost all by myself. I had to coordinate the helper for buffet and the play stations, ordered the beverages (including cooling) and also benches and tables. Furthermore, I made the information signs for the stations and prices, had to prepare a lot odds and ends.
Tomorrow morning we are going to pick up the furniture (one of the helper has a hanger AND can drive it:-)) and will be bringing it to the schoolyard where we have to arrange them.
At 3.00 pm, I am compelled to make an off-the-cuff speech to the pupils, parents, teacher and all the other visitors. (We are expecting about 400 to 600 people!)
Yes, I know, I have accepted office of the chairwoman of the parent’s association but that doesn’t allay my doubts a bit.
My greatest fear is that I have forgotten something, that I’ve missed something really important.
I’m going through rough times currently and I think I couldn’t stand another disaster or more trouble.
Please, send me some strength to “survive” it!
