Pic-Spam of Lago di Garda, Italy, Part I
Now, here they are. Finally! I promised to show you pictures of "Lago di Garda", "Tignale" etc. were we spend our vacation. Unfortunately, RL and some computer problems forced me to postpone it again and again. This is the first part, but I plan to post the next tomorrow.
Nevertherless, I hope, you receive an impression of the wonderful landscape and the fun we had. (I recommend to enlarge some of the scenery pictures to get a better view.)

This is a map of the Lago di Garda. If you enlarge the map you can make an accentuated square out which shows "Tignale", the little village where we had our lodging.
It was a long, long ride. Traffic jam almost the whole way. We needed 9 1/2 ours for a trip you could usually make in half of the time.
First P-break after 5 hours. Patrick was still cool! :D
There it is! The first little glimpse of the lake!

Safely arrived! The first view from our room over the lake.
...and the well deserved Italian dinner. Patrick and his friends Antonia and Marina, my friends daughters.
The lake the next morning! Filled with sailboats! Unfortunately, it was a bit misty.
The beach in "Gargano" where we used to go swiming, sun-bathing, eating ice-cream etc.
Prepared for swimming and the first cooling bath!
...and I was wearing the wrong shoes :D

that´s how we finished the day. There is NO espresso in this cups :D (it´s Grappa)
