(no subject)
Ahhh, skating. I had to get new blades because the rockers on my old ones were too dull... Now my toe pick keeps catching whenever I try to do jumps. Frustrating. I hate getting used to new blades. Although breaking in new boots is WAY worse, so I guess I should not complain.
My mom took some pictures of our initial meeting/practice session with everyone in the comp. They are kind of big, though, so I don't know if I should post them? Or just post links? Or post them under a cut? In which case I would need help because I forget how to make cuts. *sigh* She got a good one of my forward slide spiral, which was pretty exciting. the sbs 2 axel ones did NOT turn out at all though :(
I also have pictures from the fun "Hawaiian" gala we went to.. with my AWESOME new red dress that would be perfect for salsa back in NY.. So I should post those as well. It is sad that you can see the scrapes and bruises on my legs though.. and my tan lines from my bathing suit since the red dress is strapless. Ha ha I am the queen of fashion. Except not. But I had cute shoes, so I get points for that, right?
I miss MNI guys! I don't have time to be on it all the time, and it is sad. I miss all the Chillin' fun! I can't believe it has already been almost a month. Time flies.
