Day 02- Your favourite character.
This is so impossible, I'll give you three.
It was incredibly hard to choose between including Vanille or Chie, but Chie won out as I have yet to finish FFXIII.
Jeanne- Bayonetta
She's smart, serious, aggressive and just a little bit of a bitch. And she is amazing. But really what makes me love and adore her so much besides her super hardcore badassery, is her dedication to Bayo, that her motivation was trying to protect her best friend, that she is the one to come to her rescue (my excitement at Jeanne being playable was incredibly high) during the endgame. Plus, she is flat chested, but stunning and glamorous, her design makes me so happy because she doesn't just fall into the 'giant boobs are the default for hot' thing, and she has short hair!
Chie Satonaka- Persona 4
Chie is such an excellent female character, she is loud and upbeat, she gets mad at things and shouts (well mostly at Yosuke), she wears bicycle shorts, she loves kung fu. She is so different from so many other female characters, whilst being a tomboy she still maintains her femininity, she wants to protect rather than be protected, and she kicks stuff. And she is so gay, and anyone who tries to claim otherwise, and tries to claim that the date link with our dear protag was acceptable will get punched til I can punch no more.
Angelo- Dragon Quest VIII
A templar knight, who is pretty terrible at following any of the rules templars should follow. Angelo does his own thing, which often involves chatting up the ladies. But really once you get underneath all that Angelo is a great character, he's perceptive, dedicated to his friends and despite his past that would be angst inducing in other characters he just deals with it and carries on. What really is heart breaking about him though for me, is that he cares for his half brother Marcello who throughout the game, and their lives has hated and resented Angelo, but then again I am a giant sucker for siblings who are on alternate sides and all the "oh noes conflict" and the heartache. But really I feel it shows a tremendous strength of character, to be able to still care for someone despite the fact all they have really ever shown you is bitterness and resentment.
