Hey all, this Patrick writing to you all in Chicago the day before the Lollapalooza rock and roll festival! We have taken the best mode of transportation: the Blue Line, which is basically a metro rail. Good news: it takes you everywhere you'd need to go. Bad news: every where you'd want to go is an hour's ride away. So we arrive in the downtown area and we begin our quest to find the legendary Chicago pizza. We found a place called "Pizza-ria". In doing so, we had already failed. For in this place, the proprietor seems to be a vehemently opposed to all things Chicagon about pizza pies, and instead, betrays his city by swearing loyalty to New York Pizza. We soon found the Proprietor is also quite the cunning trickster, as he was able to con Gabe and I into buying four slices of Pizza each...how that happened is a riddle in itself, I only wanted one. We scoped the gorunds that Lollapalooza will be held...it is gargantuan and poses quite the workout for tomorrows main event. I also purchased a postcard from a desperate woman. After an hour's ride back, Gabe and I checked into the hotel room. The room is beautiful, I'll post pictures of it soon. Gabe and I discovered a well stocked, over-priced fridge filled with soda and liquor. And now the debate begins: to drink (and pay) or not to drink (and pay)? Gabe has fallen asleep and I am about retire to a nap myself. All in all I'm excited, exhausted, and missing a certain lady a bit more than I can distract myself from missing. But all in all, things are well, and looks like this trip is well worth it. (Two men with blue toohs (or is it blue teeth?) are cock fighting over where the line to the check in starts...how exciting...)
