I had a wonderful winter break. Except of course for a few foul-ups. But it was wonderful getting to see all my friends again and realizing that some people, upon closer inspection, are way cooler than I thought.
I suppose the main thing I learned over the break is that such a thing as an ideal love DOES exist, and there are, suprisingly, perfect girls in the world. This acknoledgement from the universe has allowed me to refocus my priorities and given me comfort.
I went to Seabrook Texas twice over the break to visit Adele (TallBlonde). The first time was with my sugar-parents/friends Dylan and Julia. I learned that I love crab and that the Kema Boardwalk Inn is shitty because it plays christmas music loudly 14 hours a day, plus there might be poop on the hand towels, in which case they blame it on your friends. The second time was 4 days later, when I went with Greggles McShitsabrick. Accurately named the "Worst Buddy Movie Ever", we got kicked out in the middle of the night and Greg got grounded for a day and almost couldn't do his improv show on his birthday. Way shitty.
Other than that, my stay in Austin was full of hanging out with friends and smoking. My "Big Huge Birthday" party was really cool, what with the live music and all. The only shitty thing was that I lost an eighth of weed. Oh well. Lose an 1/8, gain a bag of used panties...definitely my weirdest birthday gift. They will be used appropriately, by being flung at performing musicians.
Then we (Me and Adele) went to Denver Colorado to stay with Dylan and Julia at the JW Marriott (Swankiest hotel EVER$$). I ate like every animal on the planet, except for Panda because they're greedy with the meat. We took a limo to the Nuggets/Suns basketball game, rode 4-wheelers on icy slopes (I almost died, as a side note), slid on tubes down snowy hills in Winter Park, dropped tons of cash at the nudie bar...it was tons of fun. Breakfast blunts, fool.
So now I'm back at school and classes start tomorrow. Tomorrow I quit smoking cigarettes and pot, hopefully. We'll see. I really want to, so I'm definitely motivated enough.
