*I'm going to be doing a lot better with a medication change-the current dosage of Buspirone is pretty much knocking me out early (before 9) at night and giving me very surreal dreams. This sequence? Nightmares about the space program, politics, and strange romance...
*Just got Rule 34 yesterday from Amazon.com and I'm going to say this here before I write the much longer and more intricate review on Amazon.com-Charles Stross writes some great books and this not one of them. When I got away from the book, the theme was pretty much "don't send spam, run a company unethically, or violate intellectual copyright-or a cloud-based software application that might as well call itself Wintermute 2.0 will arrange suitable ironic deaths to ensure that people act ethically-which in this era of ethical anonymity, "proof" via dodgy behavioral and neurological science, and panopticon surveillance is required."
*Global warming, ha! This is July, and SF will probably not break 70, and they're hinting we may have rain later in the week.
In short, nearly perfect for my sister's birthday (a lot of her birthdays when she was younger were rained out...).
*So can't avoid dealing with the madness of work some days, and yesterday was one of them. I can use a new job-and I'm hoping the economy gets better in 2+ years...
