yesterday we finished up our 2 day shoot for our video for apple. the first day we had to go to the fuckin valley and shoot there in 90 degree weather. they got these weird cymbals from S.I.R. that didnt make any noise when u hit them. they were fucking heavy too. my arms are sooooo sore just from hitting them. the location was pretty cool though. it was this cool house with a guy and his 10 dogs. he just hung out all day smoking joints and feeding the dogs. the band and elvis (on loan from THE DIFFS www.thediffs.net) had to do school for 3 hours. we had to write a story. it was really fucking weird. our tutor was this old asshole with the worst name anyone could ever have. his name was SEMEN like cum like jizz like fucking ejaculatory fluid. it was soo weird. anyways it was cool. the second day we met at guitar center at like 8 and apple had rented out the whole store to shoot. this was our dream come true. i was soooooooooo happy just to be in the drum room all by myself. mike joe and jack shot in the vintage guitar room while i just hung out in the drum room. mike had like this 5000$ fender jaguar and he was supposed to jump off of 2 ORANGE amps and he did but the jaguar hit the ground pretty hard. it was really funny cuz before he jumped the guitar center guy was like "be very very very very very very carefull." it was funny to see mic cringe. after that we headed over to the lucky strike bowling alley and shot some cool stuff there. i finished school before everybody else and so i just hung out. after the bowling alley we headed over to the aztec hotel and had lunch. this was right next door to our studio. we ate and filmed in the subway station for a while and then headed to the roof. mic was soooooo scared but we filmed up there for the sunset. we then went to the top of the elevator shaft and filmed up there. i was soooo fucking scared up there cuz it was really freaky. we filmed on top of the elevator shaft for like an hour and then we wrapped. i got some really cool shit out of the shoot too. some shirts some belts some socks, some beanies and some dickies. twas really good. also i for got to say that i got 2gs aswell. tell me how i should spend my new found wealth.
