Old Comic and New Sketches

I found this while cleaning out my .PSD folder:

It's a comic about how Joey and Gene first met. D'aw they're little! Too bad the dialog, drawing, coloring, and panel flow (or lack of) isn't as cute. Never got around to finishing the backgrounds, and I don't plan to. So, I slapped it together and callin' it done.

Also, I DREW! I drew last night. It was difficult to actually do it, but I did it. Here have some sketches. They're bad photos because my camera sucks, and I'm not sure if my scanner works. Seems my dog has been chewing on the scanner's plug cable. Will have to check it out later.

Y so SRious?
I never did review The Dark Knight did I? Well, here's the gist of it and I'll try to keep spoiler free. I was extremely, and I do mean, extremely reluctant to see it. I wasn't to sure of Heath Ledger playing the Joker, was afraid they were going to ruin that role, and that it would be about as half-decent as Batman Begins. Yeah, I know how I raved about how much I loved BB, but after watching a few times I realized it wasn't as great as I thought. TDK was a different story. Wow. It's not a perfect movie, but Heath Ledger's role as the Joker is absolutely wonderful. He really got the Joker down to a T. He didn't do the quirky Joker like Jack Nicholson in Batman. Ledger got the cruel, morbid, psychotic, analytical side of Joker that not too many people know about. I loved him. O_O Harvey Dent was a good role as well. Two-face? Eh, not so much. Kind rushed and too short-lived, but it did tie in together okay. Loved his burnt half. I'm glad he didn't look like some half-green wart infested frog. His eyeball! As for Bruce Wayne/Batman? Meh. The movie isn't really about him. All I know is that I wanted to reach out, grab Christian Bale, and give a throat lozenge! I also noticed that I really like the score, especially near the end when Batman is being chased by the K9s. In short, I enjoyed the movie very much. I was like a little girl jumping up and down in my seat from time to time watching this film.

I'm working today! Manager replied and asked if I could work today. Truthfully, I don't want to but it's money, right? Not a whole lot of it, but it'll be something.
