I'd think the proper way finish a condom about to exceed it's recommended life time would be to use it. Sad to say, this isn't the first time condoms have gone 'bad' before I could get around to using them.
Kinda sad if you ask me. Most condoms are rated to be good for three years or more. But yet, I find myself several months out on the 'current' box. (yes, the box is labeled August - most likely not terrible until the end of the year and will get tossed about then)
Not that I'm really complaining, as I don't activly pursue any avenues that could be 'useful' - oh well. And I don't use a rubber when it's just me. Um, why bother.
Hey, check those expiration dates - they can get a bit crispy. Might as well not use one if it's past it's date. That makes it completely useless for anything it says on that package. And when one wants to use one - I would say keep up on those dates!
