god is a piece of mind...god is the voice of reason...your inner thought...man gave this a name and then gave the name power. Because in men stands a undying will to be powerful. God only exists because we do. We carved the story into stone and dawned the era of lies. Because we would rather our children be lied to about false hope of a sanctuary in the sky for to give fear of the pits of fire beneath us, simply to shock our youth into behaving themselves...heaven and hell are equals to santa claus and the boogeyman. Tools to guide morals and values deceptively into the minds of the naive children that can't help but give into the story, for they are scared. I was once scared. And may the lord strike me down on judgment day at the foot of the pearly white gates if I am wrong, may lucifer whip me with flames himself, if I am wrong, and may you not judge me...if I am wrong. I've made my heaven here, and your "faith" leads you to look down upon me. I look at all the same and all equal. You can tell me i'm wrong, you can shun me. I shall never speak against you. I will only be who I am now, not what some future will "hopefully" bring and not what society has come to Force upon each other. I am a man. Not a god. I only want to be a man, not a god. You can love yourself in vain and build yourself up to be superior to me (godly), and I shall try my best to look past it.
