Today I have mostly been ON STRIKE!
As a member of Unison, I was on the picket line this morning. I unfortunately missed the abusive member of the public who started pushing one of the stewards.
The rally in the town centre was watched by 4 uniformed officers with another 4 in a van nearby. Not entirely unreasonable if Mr Angry from earlier had turned up and started something. Plus the police were on hand to take pictures of their civilian support staff who were also on strike.
What do you think of the action? Should we be on strike? Would you be prepared to strike if you were in a Union?
