So we're in Dallas. Ish. Its Addison, really, I think.
Long drive, regardless. Thank god for a smartphone with a GPS antenna. I never thought I'd ever actually be able to apply it to a trip :P go me.
Its our first morning at the con, Panda's already headed down to fight the masses in the artists alley, Otter is asleep, and some grizzly bear that I don't know is sleeping at the foot of our bed. It was yet stranger last night, so far re-inforcing my belief that some furries are really creepy in person (though less than I thought, it seems). But that feeling wanes as my artistic inspiration comes back out. I've been drawing since we got in last night. Not to mention that I've seen at least a couple people that I actually know.
The turn out at the last count I heard of was 460 people, which is crazy for a first time convention; especially since they were apparently expecting no more than 240-ish. So the attendance has turned into a bit of a nightmare for admins, it seems :P
And I'm updating from my phone because our hotel room's internet connection sucks. Or isn't there. Can't tel, not that worried, but I brought my laptop just in case.
