It's been a little while since I've posted, and even longer since I've posted anything meaningful. Also, I don't think I've ever posted anything where I haven't complained at least a little bit (damn these sunflower seeds are stale). Okay, now that we've gotten THAT out of the way

i (like saj) would encourage finishing school, if only to bump yourself up in terms of potential salary (a major reason i was able to get the position of manager instead of lowly employee was because i have a bachelor's degree). but it sounds like the anthro degree, while interesting, wouldn't in any way help your job prospects or *gasp* career. if you're going to go to the trouble of putting yourself through college, it should be in something that will actually benefit you once you get out of college. why do all that work if it won't help you get a job you actually enjoy, that pays you well for your time?
i, too, was rather surprised that you didn't head for something more in the realm of design or comp sci. if you do decide to go back to college, i'd approach it from the point of view of someone who knows what they want in a school, and isn't just a kid out of high school without a clue in the world. hell, why go back to Western? if they have a program that you like then go for it, but otherwise maybe you should consider shopping around a little more. you should be able to transfer your basic university credits from Western, so it's not like you'd have to start all over. or, hey, take saj's advice and look into the Art Institutes. they'd certainly give you the skills you'd need to get a nice career started in a computer-ly field.
i think you have a couple of different choices here too. you could do trucking for awhile to save up some money, and then you can decide if you want to go back to Western or to a different school entirely. and that would give you some more time to decide what kind of degree you wanted if you DO decide to go back. you really are very talented (and skilled) in graphic and web design, and if you decided to go that route you could be doing something you really enjoy, and making a nice salary at the same time.
also, it's really good to hear from you, dude. *giant hugs of doom*

It does rather seem that going off and doing some trucking, saving some money, and THEN deciding how to proceed leaves me with the most options. If that's the way I'm going to go, though, I do NOT look forward to receiving the ire of my mom, Marie, my Grandpa, Kris, etc... Yech. Why can't things just be easy? :)
