LiveJournal has become an issue...

Can only access my LiveJournal if the stars are aligned. Like lots of people this platform decided my password was stale but never fixed anything to let me reset it. Well, the secret turns out to be: their new somewhat-obnoxious promotion emails. It has a link to request help or request new password, and that got me in. Usually it's a cycle of "update password / password not allowed / request help here / [no help ever comes]"

I sure hope it's working next month so I can post my Oscars prediction post. I've done that for 20+ years now...
